I enjoy all kinds of writing, and all stages of the writing process. I’ll try to post regularly about the kinds of tools and exercises I find most helpful for my writing process. But sometimes writers need help to brainstorm ideas or organize their thoughts. They say that it takes a village, and this is as true for writing as it is for anything else. As an acquiring editor at a regional trade publisher, I get to work with great authors (new and old) and help them polish their manuscripts until they shine. I have over ten years of editing experience, as a peer mentor, a copyeditor, and a proofreader.
