My first Goodreads giveaway for The Mourning Ring came to an end on Thursday night at midnight. It was exhilarating to watch the number of requests spike in those last few hours, and I was blown away by the amount of interest in my Bronte novel.
I would have been pleased with 500 requests, but at the end of the contest I had 864 entrants!
The contest winners should be receiving their winning paperbacks and S.W.A.G. sometime next week. I hope that those 859 people who were intrigued enough by the novel’s premise will consider ordering The Mourning Ring in paperback ($12.25) or e-book ($4.99) to read and review.
I am currently on the hunt for bookbloggers who would be a good fit for reviewing a YA historical fantasy.
In the meantime, I’m already working on the next novel. It’s another YA historical fantasy, set in an alternate version of Regency England where Napoleon won the Coalition Wars and rules over Great Britain as part of his empire. There will be dragons.
